CAPTURING A MOMENT

I think the most exciting part of being a photographer, whether it be wedding photography, wildlife, portrait, etc. is 'capturing a moment'.  It's that split second when you catch the 'mood' or the 'personality' of your subject.  One of my favourites that I have taken recently is of a bride and her brother after he had put her up in a tree in her wedding dress and climbed up with her.  I love the expression on her face as she looks at her brother.  The bride herself was also very please with this photo and gave it as a gift to her brother.

A 'COUPLE' OF FANTASTIC WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS

I recently attended a seminar given by two very talented photographers; Tyler James and Elizabeth Kaye.  Tyler and Elizabeth (Beth) occasionally work together but have very unique styles and stories.  Beth, whose company is called "Elizabeth in Love" studied at Sheridan College with the intention of becoming a fashion photographer.  Somewhere along the way, she started shooting weddings and found that she enjoyed it very much.  She has a beautiful soft style and you can have a look at her work on her website www.elizabethinlove.com   Tyler, on the other hand, has no formal training in photography and has learned all the required skills on his own.  His talent is apparent when viewing his work on his website www.tylerjamesphoto.com   Thank you very much to Ty and Beth for sharing their stories and their photos!
