Napa Valley

In celebration of a 'milestone' birthday November 2010, my husband, Rick,  gave me a trip to San Francisco and the Napa Valley.  The highlight of the trip  was a balloon ride over the Napa Valley.  A flight in a hot air balloon had been a dream of mine for many years.  It was all that I had dreamed of and MORE!  What a fantastic experience and a wonderful photo opportunity that doesn't come along all that often!  It was certainly my best birthday ever!

Jamie, Zack and Rachel

If you read the 'about me' section of my blog, you would know that I recently became a great aunt.  These are some of the maternity shots I took of my niece Jamie and her fiance Zack.  I am also looking forward to being the photographer at their wedding in September.  Rachel Audrey Stacey was born November 29th, one day before by birthday! Happy Birthday to me!!!

Tracy Styan

These are a few of my favourite photos that I have taken of Tracy Styan.  She is a personal trainer, Holistic Nutritionist and participates in Fitness Competitions. I really like the one where she is laying on the rocks.  I think it really shows the definition that she works so hard to achieve.  I look forward to taking more pictures of Tracy soon!!

Oak Alley, New Orleans

I was recently in New Orleans and took a tour out to see this pre-civil war sugar plantation - Oak Alley.  What a fabulous location this would be for a wedding.  The house could accommodate a small wedding but I think the front of the house would be a perfect setting.  Imagine chairs set up on either side and the Bride walking up the 'aisle' towards the house!  There were so many places on the grounds and on the upper balcony on the outside of the house that would be fantastic for photos!  Even better, as the bride, if it happened to be your own property!!
